The Samaritans is a service which, at some particular moment in our lives, any one of us might be glad to turn to.
All sorts of people call Samaritans – men and women, young and old, gay and straight. They come from all walks of life – all ethnic backgrounds, occupations, religions and levels of education. Often, they feel they can’t talk to their family or friends because they’re afraid to tell anyone or they don't want to be judged or they just want to keep things confidential.
